Pine Ridge is one of the most respected wineries in California and year in and out their “humble” blend of Chenin Blanc and Viognier is a delight... for as long as it stays in stock! The Chenin Blanc is the core of this blend, sourced from Clarksburg. The grapes were harvested at low sugar levels to ensure a bright fruit character. In contrast, the Viognier from Lodi is ripe and fragrant. Full-bodied, semi-creamy mouth texture with a clean finish. We love the fruitiness – pineapple, peach, honeyed pear, and sweet mango with subtle grapefruit accents. You don’t often find this level of classiness at this price and Pine Ridge only makes a small amount each year. James Suckling rated this vintage 92 points.
