WOW! When we tasted this wine, we were blown away. This is a fruit bomb of the highest order. Licorice, vanilla and a myriad of red and black fruits jump from the glass. The fruit coats the palate, and firm but ripe tannins contribute structure and lead to a long finish. 60% Primitivo and 40% Negromaro, Amativo’s blend provides a sense of place and style true to the region. The Cantele family has been in the wine industry for three generations and is proud to have played an active role in Puglia’s shift from the production of bulk wine to a concentration on making quality estate wines. With this Amativo, they’re well on their way!
