Brightly colored with aromas of sweet red berries and cherries with a touch of underripe tropical fruits and loads of flowers. The palate is crunchy and spritely with lip-smacking acidity and waves of fruit repeating with grapefruit and watermelon joining the party. Chill this and have a lot of fun! A little more than two-thirds white grapes (equal parts Adelaide Hills, Gewürztraminer and McLaren Vale, Savagnin) with a splash of McLaren Vale, Cabernet Franc. The grapes were handpicked at three very different times for optimum ripeness for this blend: Savagnin (early-February), Gewürz (end-February), Cabernet Franc (early-March). The white components each had five days on skins while the Cabernet Franc saw seven days before being pressed and fermented in barrel. The wines were all aged separately before being brought together before bottling after six months. The wine had a month to harmonize together prior to being bottled without fining or filtration.
