Susumaniello is a variety of red wine grape from the 'heel' of Italy. It is an ancient grape variety which is grown almost exclusively in the Salice Salento area, and in a tiny number of vineyards around Brindisi, it ranks among the world's rarest wine grapes. If that's not reason enough to try it, then try A Mano Susumaniello because it is delicious. Alluring, enjoyable, easy to drink without sacrificing complexity. A Mano Susumaniello has fresh ripe red and black fruit with an underlying spice that adds layers of complexity to this crisp ready to drink red from Apuglia. This is a wine perfect for Thanksgiving; try with a slight chill for a unique fun Fall wine.
