The aromatic Golan Heights Winery "Golan" Moscato is produced from the Muscat Canelli grape from the Galilee region of Israel. It shows off attractive fresh floral, bright green apple, tropical fruit and ripe tangerine characters with subtler notes of peppermint and spice. The Bayway wine team was struck by just how friendly and fun it is, it just brings a smile to your face! The wine's light sparkle and relatively low alcohol content ensure its great drinkability. Enjoy the Golan Moscato with any dessert, or by itself as a great conclusion to a meal. Tarte tatin, strawberry mousse or fresh berry pie would all be good pairing possibilities.
|The Galilee (or Galil) is the most northern, and generally considered the best, appellation in Israel. The highest quality area within the appellation is the Golan Heights (or simply the Golan), the coldest region in Israel. The vineyards on this volcanic plateau rise from 400 meters (1,300 feet) above sea level to 1,200 meters (3,900 feet) and receive snowfall in the winter. The Golan Heights Winery is located in the town of Katzrin, in the central Golan.
