Do Ferreiro is a benchmark Albarino. Every year, it delivers the goods, showing a degree of aromatic complexity, nervy minerality, and pure intensity of flavor that always makes it stand out from the rest. Delicious upon release, it is also one of the few Albarinos to improve in bottle for years. The 2010 vintage finds this property, who farms their prime vineyards organically and always only employ native yeasts in the fermentations, in top form. "Light gold. Precise, high-pitched aromas of orange zest, pear, melon, honeysuckle and salty minerals. Taut and pure, offering zesty citrus and underripe orchard fruit flavors and a sweeter note of honeydew. Finishes with excellent clarity and juicy, melony persistence. I like this wine's mix of fleshiness and vivacity." - Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar
