Beverage Testing Institute 94 points - Fat aromas of baked peaches and papaya creme brulee with a silky, fruity sweet medium-to-full body and a long, golden raisin, dried apricot, earth and oil accented finish. A nicely balanced, deeply delicious dessert wine. (Apr 2013)
Winery Notes: "Beerenauslese is only produced in select vintages - when conditions allow the grapes to reach the required level of ripeness (in this case, at least 125 degrees Oechsle). Our BA is estate-bottled and made exclusively from the Huxelrebe grape variety, which produces elegant, age-worthy, dessert wines. This wine is a perennial winner of the highly esteemed Goldene Kammerpreismunze issued by the German Agriculture Ministry for wines achieving the highest evaluation."
