Winemaker's Note: "This Petite Sirah has pronounced tannins and rusticity yet paradoxically is not heavy, rather it is smooth and supple with a deep ruby color and light cherry and strawberry notes. The grapes for Gedeon Petite Sirah were grown in and around Bet Shemesh in the Northeastern Judean Hills near Jerusalem. This is the first Petite Sirah from the Judean Hills appellation."
