This wine is made from 90% Negroamaro and 10% Malvasia Nera. Salice Salentino is a small town in Apulia, Italy, the heel of Italy and the name of this DOC wine. The wines made from these grapes are generous, fruity, and full of extract. The wines are aged in small oak barriques for about six months for added complexities.
|Wine maker notes
|Rather deep, but bright ruby red, slight orange shade with suble light and flowery bouquet. Dry, round and mellow, with a dry finish and robust full-body.
