A deep saturated purple color gives way to a nose and palate dominated by juicy ripe plums, dark cherries, and blackberries. Mixed citrus notes are carried by the structure and delicate strength of the beads on this big demi-sec Lambrusco.
|Wine maker notes
|A true representation of Modena, Donelli Lambrusco Reggiano is packaged in the unique Scaglietti bottle, designed by renowned Ferrari designer Sergio Scaglietti. This sparkling half-dry red is vinified in stainless steel tanks, followed by maceration at a controlled temperature. The Charmat method is then implemented to slowly develop the froth. Boasting abundant floral aromas with hints of wild berries, this full-bodied wine has a slightly sweet, fruity taste that is nicely balanced by light tannins. The wine is the ideal accompaniment to tortellini, stuffed pasta, and boiled or roast meats. Serve chilled.
|ideal to accompany any typical dish from the Emilia’s tradition, in particular tortellini and stuffed pasta. Perfect when matching boiled or roast meats
