The nose shows marked fruit that is very intense. Tropical notes of passion fruit and mango appear as well as bakery nuances due to being aged on fine lees. Less intense are the hints of golden apple and citric fruits. A clean wine on the nose.
The palate is dry with perfect acidity, some meatiness and very long, with hints of white flowers (orange blossom, jasmine). Mineral notes from the terrior. The finish confirms complexity and structure.
Full-bodied and surprisingly complex not only for Rueda, but also for the price point. Aromas of dried pineapple and tropical fruits hang on great structure. This is a great wine to drink in the summer as a cocktail.
|A perfect wine to match with a good appetizer, seafood, salads, all kinds of fish, rice, and legumes.
