Steve Tanzer 94 points - Greenish-gold color. Intensely perfumed bouquet of ripe pineapple, honeydew, white peach and baking spices, with a spicy undercurrent. Extremely sweet but the luscious melon and pit fruit flavors are braced by crackling minerality, which adds focus and cut. As lithe and precise a late-harvest wine as I've ever tasted, offering excellent finishing clarity and sweet, nervy persistence. (Oct 2009)
Importer's Notes: "The 2007 Victoria was produced with older vines. Medium gold-colored, it offers up candied tropical; fruits, butterscotch, and pineapple. Viscous, sweet, and intensely flavored, it can also be enjoyed over the next two years."
