A great vineyard, a great estate producer, and a great vintate, all combined. The Domaine Bertagna is justly proud to be the sole owner of this extraordinary vineyard which lies just below Musigny (For many burgundy lovers, the greatest red wine site in all the Cote d'Or). The fact that the Clos de La Perriere is only 1er Cru and not Grand Cru is quite strange when you look at the map of Vougeot and see that some undistinguished spots all the way down by the N74 are Grand Cru. One of our managers bought a 6 pack of this wine in the 1993 vintage, and it's still young!
