Champagne taste, but not the budget? The next best thing to real Champagne, although some might say they like it even better than Champagne...and what value! The Lucien Albrecht is a sparkling rosé with a very light coral color, and an extremely fine bead (tiny bubbles). There are red berry notes on both the nose and the palate, but the accent is on elegance rather than power, the flavors dancing on the palate. This is seriously good bubbly, at a fraction of the cost of even the most reasonably-priced Champagne!
