Laurent Miquel's family has owned vineyards in the Languedoc since the 1780's.Â Laurent does not believe in heavy intervention by the winemaker, favoring organic viticulture. For this rose the winery hand selects the best Cinsault (80%) and Syrah (20%). Refreshing strawberry and blueberry flavors with a dose of minerality and an elegant finish.

Review

French rose seems to be in its Golden Age. That's to say, it is selling hand over fist, AND, the flavors are the best they've ever been. Bright, clean acidity and vibrant berry fruits lead to a lingering, delicious finish. Perfect with vichyssoise.
