Good medium red. Deeply pitched aromas of dark cherry, smoked meat and minerals, with herbal and gamey nuances. Slightly green and hard in the middle palate, with a leanness that leads to a noticeably dry finish. Seems a bit undernourished. (The Chambolle-Musigny Les Plantes was perfumed on the nose, with notes of maraschino cherry, medicinal herbs and red licorice, but was even more green and lean in the middle palate and dry on the finish
