Sawbuck Cabernet Sauvignon is 75% Cabernet Sauvignon blended with 16% Syrah and 9% Tempranillo. Excellent fruit maturity resulted in a wine with great color and intensity. Aromas of red raspberries and dusty chocolate are prevalent with hints of toasty oak and spice. This Cabernet Sauvignon is soft in the palate with layers of berries, cocoa, spice and silky tannins. It was aged for 14 months in both barrels and tanks. Well balanced to enjoy now and over the next 5-7 years, it offers a long, smooth finish. Enjoy Sawbuck Cabernet Sauvignon with steak, burgers, BBQ ribs and hard cheeses.

| CLASSIC SAWBUCK
When owners John and Lane Giguiere started their first winery in 1983 they were young and enthusiastic with dreams much bigger than their bank account. The first years were financed by credit cards and hope until they felt like they were down to their last sawbuck before R.H. Phillips and Toasted Head became wine brands.
About the Appellation
Sawbuck wines are made from grapes grown in the northern edge of the California wine country; Mendocino and Yolo Counties. Both are unique growing regions that are left of center of the mainstream. Often overlooked, they offer wines of incredible quality at a value price.
