"From the Aberlour 10 school of brilliant noses: the quality of the sherry butts used is as good as you can find today with their clean, almost inspirational gently spiced clarity offering sufficient permeability to allow both barley and oak to breath and prosper. Mouth-cleansing delivery with the clean Sauternes-esque grape polishing every tastebud; the decent weight is just about perfect for its style; again the spices are no more than a distant rumble and the barley breaks out for the relaxed stroll. Remains delicate for all the weight; the mild treacle and waxed honey finale satisfies. Another expression which has been greatly enhanced of late and this one to the T.
