Ultimate Beverage Challenge 94 points - Delicate fruit aromas of yellow plums and lemons mixed with lady finger cookies. Very spicy and rustic flavor profile with wood smoke and toffee flavors, slightly sweet on the finish. Leathery and rugged in texture.  (Mar 2013)

Wine Enthusiast 92 points - Light and versatile, although at over 100 proof "natural cask strength,” this golden spirit could stand some dilution, whether via a dose of ice water or mixing into a cocktail. Perfumy floral-honey nose, with flavors of vanilla lemon, oak, and a hint of smoke on the finish. — K.N. (Dec 2011)

Nadurra is the most natural expression of The Glenlivet. It is batch produced at cask strength using traditional methods. Most whiskies are chill-filtered to prevent the liquid becoming cloudy when adding water or ice. Omitting chill-filtration gives the mouth feel more body and a richer texture, and stays true to the style of whisky that was enjoyed in the 19th century. It turns cloudy at low temperatures because it contains more natural oils from the grain. The first-fill ex-bourbon casks impart Nadurra’s distinctive vanilla notes.
