Vibrant and complex aromas of spicy, red berry fruit, cinnamon and clove spice. The same abundant, vibrant fruit is refl ected on the palate which also shows a hint of licorice, sweet cinnamon spice, and subtle cedary French oak.
Most of the grapes came from the Coonawarra regions of South Australia's Limestone Coast. These regions are famous for outcrops of red soil that lie above a hard layer of coastal limestone. The palate is soft and inviting and the medium bodied wine has generous flavors of cranberry, cherry, mulberry and plum. Fine, soft tannins make this classic wine blend easy to sip. The focused linear structure creates good length and plush, ripe berry flavors linger on the finish." – Winery Notes
