Wine maker notes
Fermentation took place at high temperatures with daily pumping over and a maceration time of 2 to 3
weeks. After malolactic fermentation the wines are blended and aged in vats several months before fining
and bottling.

Originating from the left bank of the Dordogne River and also the right bank of the Garonne River, the
soil types vary from gravel to a mixture of clay and limestone. The calcium base soils increase the fruitiness
of the wines and the clay soils add additional tannic structure.
