Beautiful appley aromas with a touch of toastiness from the "sur lie" aging, meaning the wine must spend at least a full winter in contact with the lees before bottling. In the mouth, it is light and delicate with lovely apple and pear flavors and a finishing note of nervy saline, citrus peel and herb flavors. Note that the name of the grape is Melon de Bourgogne, not "Muscadet"!
