The history of Strega starts in Benevento in 1860. Strega Alberti today still occupies the same 30.000 mq historical building next to the train station.
Today the Company represents one of the most efficient industrial templates in southern Italy. The company employs 75 people divided into employees and
workers, the company is also divided between the traditional liqueur and sweet production section and since 1998 the pastry preparation section.
The Factory and its administration is still run by the Alberti family, it is now at the fifth generation. The secret of Strega Alberti lies in its ability to combine traditional products with technological progress.
All the production phases have evolved but still keep the wisdom of the Master pastry chefs and liqueur makers.
