"Tout a sa place" (Everything in its proper place) pretty much summarizes this white burgundy from the splendid 2009 vintage. On the nose and palate there's generous pear and apple fruit, with a hint of tropical fruit. The texture suggests partial barrel aging in passive oak, but it might just be entirely stainless steel, with the appealing texture due to the vintage. At $11.99 this is an excellent buy in 100% Chardonnay from its homeland. Try it with appetizers, seafood, chicken, turkey, veal or pork.
