Deep red color in the glass, aromas of rich, dark fruit on the nose, and a silky texture and bright flavors on the palate. Winemaker's Note: In mid August, when the grapes have reached perfect maturity and are ready to be picked, we twist the stem of the grape bunches so that no further nourishment reaches the grapes. This induces a natural drying of the grapes on the vine. The grapes are left on the plant for approximately 12 days, and lose approximately 25 to 30% of their weight in water, concentrating their flavors before harvest. The result is a delicious, full-bodied red with elegant and smooth tannins and a well-balanced and luscious finish.
