The winery and vineyards of Cesca are located in the heart of the Priorat region in the town of Gratallops, just 40 miles south of Barcelona at 1,000 ft above the Mediterranean sea. The vineyards are in the lower valley of Gratallops next to a dividing creek.

Lo Piot and Abat Domenech are not your typical Priorats. These wines have all the advantages of Priorat (mineral notes, high pigmentation, structure, concentration + elegance). Sometimes wines from Priorat can be overpowering, in the case of these wines elegance is the determining factor.
